Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Merida

Arrival at Merida and transfer to hotel. Merida also known as “White city” and capital of Yucatan with approximately 1,956 millions of people it's today a modern city full of culture. We own several museums, galleries and restaurants that is why we feel proud of welcoming you to this mystic place founded in 1542 by Francisco de Montejo, best known as “El mozo”.

Day 2

Merida Sightseeing

This incredible bike ride will lead us 2,500 years towards past of Yucatan: After a light breakfast, we start our ride in modern Merida passing by the newest neighborhoods and commercial areas in the city, in minutes we will ﬁnd ourselves riding along little villages, former haciendas, and ancient Mayan paths surrounded by nature until we reach the beautiful Mayan city of Dzibilchaltun where we will have time to explore its temples and relax in the beautiful cenote “Xlakáh”.

Day 3

Merida Tour

In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to enjoy kayaking a small mangrove forest located close to Merida that will put us in a lagoon from where we can witness a spectacular sunset surrounded by hundreds of birds, traveling back to their nests to feed their chicks.

Day 4

Merida Sightseeing

A little town located 40 km from Merida, where we will ﬁnd old wagons that were used to transport henequen and now they are being used to transport people to the cenotes near the area.

Day 5

Drive to Yucatan

South of Yucatan we will have the opportunity to visit the archeological site of Oxkintok, later we will go on tour to the Calcehtok caves, where we will descend to an spectacular underground world that was used as a refuge and ceremony center for the Mayan people. We will go refresh to two cenotes near the area and at the end we will enjoy a delicious regional meal.

Day 6

Departure

Last day and transfer to the airport. Until the next time Yucatan!
