Early pick-up either at Hue Airport or Hue Station (to be confirmed prior to arrival). Our driver and English-speaking guide will meet you and transfer you to the boat station to embark on a cruise along the poetic Perfume River. Start with visiting Minh Mang tomb which was built from 1840 and completed in 1843 with the effort of ten thousand workers and artisians. Tomb of Minh Mang was organized in a main straight pathway, through series of construction: gates, the court yard, the stone tablet, the worship yard, Hien Duc gate, Sung An temple hall, lake Trung Minh, Minh Lau house, Tan Nguyet lake, Quang Minh Chinh Truc gate, Trung Dao Buu and finally the tomb of king Minh Mang which has the whole area of 475 ha, surrounded by walls, ponds and pine trees. These items, combined perfectly, make this tomb become an unforgettable place. Visit Dong Ba Market —the oldest market in Hue and a place with an importance in the day-to-day life of Hue people. Also, one of the best shopping sites in the city. Overnight in Hue on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

After breakfast (included), visitors will explore the Hue Imperial of Nguyen Dynasty (the Citadel) —one of the majestic places with the unique architecture of the ancient kings. Entering the Citadel, visitors are recalled as lost in the old Imperial Palace through rituals. Then visit the Minh Mang’s Tomb, where many people will be astonished to find a place of art, poetry and philosophy. The solemn and quiet architecture set in a poetic landscape demonstrates both the Emperor's strictness and deep beliefs. Have lunch (included) at local restaurant. Our motorbike driver will pick you up at your hotel to Chuon Lagoon. You will go by local boat with the fisherman and have a chance to see how the local people catch the fish, shrimp, by casting nets or other tools in the Lagoon. After that, you can experience fishing with local people. At 5.30 pm, enjoy dinner (included) with fresh seafood at the local restaurant on Lagoon, special is “Kinh fish fried pancake”, a famous specialty which no tourists can’t miss when visiting Chuon Lagoon. After, don't forget to take some photos to memorize the amazing and fascinating sunset. At 6.30 pm, come back to the hotel. Overnight in Hue on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Have breakfast (included) and embark on a boat for a cruise along the poetic Perfume River. The main destination of our journey is Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda) which was built in 1601 (the symbol pagoda of Hue city). Continue your trip, biking around a village called Thuy Bieu, a wonderland of pomelo which possesses a very special taste and fragrance in Vietnam, especially in Hue. While biking, take a short stop to see schools, communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden house —its housing architecture is typical of Hue and the Nguyen dynasty with small cottages hidden in large luxuriant gardens, long gates and fences carved out of ornamental trees. Thuy Bieu is a hidden gem of untouched nature and culture. Come back to a local house for a cooking class (included) where you will prepare lunch by yourself with our chef’s instructions. Enjoy your lunch (included) of all the Hue traditional dishes you have just cooked. Relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water, a traditional therapeutic practice. Transfer to Hue Airport or Hue station for your next destination. End of services.
