Huangshan Yellow Mountains

Pick up at Huangshan Tunxi International Airport, and transfer to hotel and rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Huangshan.

The Yellow Mountains is one of the most famous and beautiful mountainous areas in China. It was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1990. Its spectacular natural scenery includes oddly-shaped pines and rocks, and mystical seas of cloud. We will go to Mt.Yellow (Huangshan) from downtown Tunxi by transfer in the morning, after arrival at the foot of the moutain, you can take cable car up to the the mountaintop at Yungu. After getting into the moutain, you may hike and taek sight-see along the Begin-to-believe peak, the Lion peak, the Flying-over Rock, the Bright Summit, the Big-fish Peak, the Lotus-flower Peak, the Jade Screen Peak, the Guest-welcoming Pine Tree, the Heavenly-capital Peak and a lot more. Then from the Jade Screen Hotel you may take cable car down to Mercy Light Pavilion along so-called south route on foot, and enjoy the beautiful view. In the late evening you will be transferred back to hotel in Tunxi. Overnight at Huangshan

Today we will go to Hongcun Village, which is an ancient village with a history of 400 to 500 years. The original residential style and features of the Ming and Qing Dynasties were preserved perfectly there. It was inscribed into the list of the World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. The peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings present outsiders a piece of pleasing and tranquil picture of a typical country life in South China. Possessing most attractive natural sceneries and more than 140 well preserved ancient houses, Hongcun Village always welcomes plentiful visitors all year around. In the afternoon you will be transferred to airport, for your flight. Breakfast and Lunch included.
