Day 1
Arrival in Cape Town
Cape Town
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Check in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2
Cape Town city tour
Cape Town
Embark on a morning city tour showcasing Cape Town from its historical beginnings to the upbeat city it is today. The tour end with a visit to Table Mountain (weather permitting; cable car fee not included). Return to the hotel to enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure.
Day 3
Cape Point and Peninsula Tour
Cape Town
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay. Continue via Chapmans Peak to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Then onward to the historic Simons Town, a village with charming architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. End the day with a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 4
Cape Winelands Tour
Cape Town
Wind your way to the heart of the Cape Winelands through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Savour the beauty and wine of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.
Day 5
Cape Town to Oudtshoorn via Route 62
Cape Town
Depart Cape Town and travel along Route 62, meandering your way through the countryside and quint villages to Barrydale.

After lunch (to own account) continue to Oudtshoorn, the "feather capital" of the world.

Visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour. Check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner.
Day 6
Oudtshoorn to Plettenberg Bay via Knysna

Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of the world, before departing for Knysna.

Enjoy some leisure time at the Knysna Waterfront before proceeding to The Crags near Plettenberg Bay.

Embark on an informative cruise up the Keurbooms River before arriving at your accommodation for the following two nights. Freshen up before dinner at the lodge.
Day 7
Plettenberg Bay area
After breakfast visit Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Proceed to Hog Hollow Horse Trails for a horse-drawn carriage and wine tasting experience followed by lunch (to own account). Return to the lodge for the remainder of the afternoon at leisure before dinner. Optional: discuss the availability of additional activities on offer in the area with your guide.
Day 8
Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth
Plettenberg Bay
Journey along the final leg of the Garden Route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park - Garden of the Garden Route. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge which offers incredible views.

The tour ends on arrival in Port Elizabeth with drop-off at the hotel or airport.
Day 9
Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg
Port Elizabeth
Transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to Johannesburg, the City of Gold.

Upon arrival transfer to your hotel and later embark on a scheduled afternoon tour of Johannesburg City. Return to your hotel for remainder of the evening at leisure. Overnight Protea Hotel Balalaika (standard room) or similar | Meals: Breakfast
Day 10
Soweto and Apartheid Museum tour
Johannesburg
Today you will visit the townships of Soweto followed by an afternoon exploring the exhibit at The Apartheid Museum. Lunch today will be enjoyed at a local tavern in Soweto. Return to the hotel in the early evening. Dinner to own arrangements.
Day 11
Johannesburg to Hazyview via Panorama Route
Johannesburg
Morning collection from your Johannesburg based hotel, before travelling north via the magnificent Panorama Route.

From many well positioned vantage points, take in the view of the 33 km long gorge, which starts at Bourkes Luck Potholes and ends at the Three Rondavels. Stop at Gods Window (time and weather permitting).

Late afternoon arrival at your hotel for check in and freshen up before dinner.
Day 12
Safari Experience
Kruger National Park
Enjoy a full day open vehicle safari through the Kruger National Park. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.
Day 13
Safari Experience
Hoedspruit
Embark on an early morning game viewing activity. Later return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 14
Departure
Hoedspruit
Time permitting, embark on your final early morning game viewing activity before returning to camp for breakfast followed by check-out formalities. You shall be collected for your transfer to Hoedspruit OR Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where the tour ends.
