City Break in Barcelona, Cultural & Gourmet Experience
Discover the very best Barcelona has to offer on this unforgettable four-day city break. Admire Gaudi's masterpieces, declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, then stroll down Las Ramblas and enjoy the entertainment provided by street musicians and performers. Appreciate the architecture of the Gothic Quarter in the Old Town and enjoy a spot of shopping on the Passeig de Gracia, home to most of the well-known boutiques in Barcelona. Highlights Barcelona: Visit Gaudí’s most iconic creations such as Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia. Then soak up the atmosphere as you stroll along the bustling Las Ramblas. Park Güell: Witness Gaudi’s vision of the perfect garden city. The park remains unfinished, but the myriad of mosaics created from irregular, broken tiles are sure to capture your imagination. Sagrada Familia: The unique designs of Gaudí’s basilica stretch the realms of the imagination and have turned this basilica into an icon of this grand city. The three fascinating façades are all different and only one of them, the surreal Nativity façade, was near completion before Gaudí died. A visit to the Sagrada Familia is an opportunity to literally witness history being built, as new elements are constantly being added, such as the recently completed nave roof. Tapas: Indulge in one (or several!) of the most famous concept in Spanish cuisine. These typical appetizers are a true institution in Barcelona; stopping for a few tapas is the perfect excuse to meet up with friends at any time of the day.

Enjoy some free time in the morning to get a feel for the city by yourself, then head to the meeting point at Julià Travel Office, Calle Balmes 5, for the 15:30 Artistic Barcelona tour. We will start the visit with a walking tour around the exterior of la Sagrada Familia, giving you an insight into the basilica’s history and the fascinating symbolism hidden within its ornamentation. Then head back to the bus to travel to Park Güell, located on top of a hill, offering incredible panoramic views of the city. Park Güell is one of Gaudí’s most emblematic works, as he combined his creative Modernist style with nature in his vision of the perfect garden city, now a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. We will round off the tour with a stroll down one of the most important streets in Barcelona, the Passeig de Gràcia. Here, you will not only find a plethora of prestigious shops, but also many important Modernist buildings, such as Casa Milà, also known as “La Pedrera” and Casa Batlló.
