Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, clients will be met and transferred to the Nairobi Hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Overnight at Norfolk Hotel in Fairmont Room on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2
Nairobi – Masai Mara

Guests will be collected early from hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara. The flight departs Nairobi at 1000hrs and arrives approximately at 1100hrs. Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to the camp. Following lunch, there will be shared afternoon game drive returning to camp as the sun sets. If guests arrive in the afternoon, they will be transferred to the camp.
Overnight at Fairmont Mara Safari Club in Riverfront Tents on full board basis

Day 3
Masai Mara

Rising at dawn with tea and coffee, depart for an early morning shared game drive before breakfast, catching the animals before the heat of the day sets in. Enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure, followed by shared afternoon game drive, returning to the camp as the sun sets.
Overnight at Fairmont Mara Safari Club in River Tents on full board basis

Day 4
Masai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast transferred to the nearest airstrip for a scheduled flight to Nairobi. The flight departs Mara at 1100hrs and arrives into Nairobi at approximately 1215hrs. Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onwards flight

  • Cancellation charges as per company policy.
  • The above rates are subject to change in case of travel during the festive season
  • In case we are not able to provide the same hotels as mentioned, then we shall provide similar alternate properties, change in the cost if any will be advised.
  • In case of Political Unrest, bad weather or sudden breakdown of the vessel we may shift guest to alternative govt ferry and no refund will be entertained during that situation.
  • Our Executive may change your itinerary depending on the weather condition and ferry availability same will be update to you daily basis.

Passengers should bring only soft sided bags** 

**Luggage
Due to limited luggage space in vehicles, suitcases are unsuitable for scheduled road safaris. We recommend luggage packed in inexpensive barrel/sausage bags or soft sided bags not exceeding 15kgs and 65x46 cm.
Excess luggage can be handed over to the representative at time of briefing.  It will be handed over to you on your return from safari.  Additional costs may apply to pick up drop off luggage at specific points.
