Arrival/ departure transfer from/ to Keflavík Airport. Fully escorted 3-day tour with English speaking local guide.
2-night accommodation in Hotel Selfoss and 2-night accommodation in Hotel Ísland in Reykjavik with access to gym and spa. Daily breakfast. Other meals are not included. 
Reception in Hotel Selfoss with one glass of sparkling wine upon arrival on 2nd day, short film presenting the Northern Lights, as well as one entrance to their Spa on 2nd or 3rd day.
Evening hunt for the Northern Lights one night while staying in Selfoss (weather dependent).

Itinerary

Day 1
WELCOME TO ICELAND
Arrive to Keflavik Airport and hop on to a shared bus en route to Reykjavik, the northernmost capital of the world. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 2
GOLDEN CIRCLE
After breakfast (included), the guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at 08.45 am. We tour the renowned Golden Circle, including a visit to the famous Geysir hot spring area, where Strokkur erupts every 5-10 minutes. We also visit the Gullfoss (Golden) waterfall and Thingvellir national park, where the forces of the Great Atlantic Rift are clearly visible. This is where the North American and European tectonic plates drift apart at a rate of 2-6 cm per year. Thingvellir is also the place where the ancient Icelandic parliament was established in 930. It is an area of truly outstanding beauty, as well as geological and historical significance. After visiting these world famous sights, we drive through the much greener landscapes of South Iceland to our accommodation Selfoss, a town of 8,000 inhabitants. There, you may enjoy a welcome drink and a short film introducing the Northern Lights in a proper cinema. Weather permitting, a hunt for the Northern light will be in the evening in the Selfoss vicinity. Overnight in Eyravegur.
Day 3
VOLCANOES AND WATERFALLS
After breakfast (included), it's time to travel along the south coast white glacier tongues, waterfalls and rugged hills around the infamous volcano Eyjafjallajökull. The day is crowned by the magnificent Katla Ice Cave. Overnight in Eyravegur.
Day 4
BLUE LAGOON AND REYKJAVIK CITY TOUR
Wake up early for breakfast (included) and get ready to drive the south coast to Reykjanes peninsula. There, we pass Krysuvik a hot thermal area before arriving at the area’s jewel, the Blue Lagoon. Then is time for a bathing where you can enjoy soaking in the mineral rich water with its fine silica mud experience (bathing admission not included). The Blue lagoon is on the National Geographic list of 25 Wonders of the World claiming it is a geothermal gift of nature. From the Blue Lagoon, we head to Reykjavik for a City Tour that will introduce the city’s main landmarks. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 5
GOODBYE ICELAND
Have breakfast (included) and hop on to your departure transfer to Keflavik Airport (included).
