Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Bangalore & Sightseeing
Upon arriving at Bangalore railway station our tour representative will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Check-in, get freshen up and get ready for the sightseeing trip of the city including Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Aquarium, Iskcon Temple, HAL Aerospace museum, Visvesvaraya Industrial Museum, Bull temple, St Mary’s Basilica, Sankey Tank and Wonder La. First of all we visit the Lal Bagh Botanical Garden today. This world-famous Botanical Garden exhibits superb botanical artistry and boasts of having as many as 1854 rare plant species. The garden sprawls across an area of about 240 acres and houses many birds too. Its most notable feature is its enormous glass house that makes the venue for an amazing flower show held each year. Next, we visit the Cubbon Park. This lush green park with over 6000 trees sprawls across an area of about 300 acres. The park was established in 1870 and was named after Lord Cubbon. The park has ample greenery and a calm ambiance. Next, we visit the Bangalore aquarium. It is housed within the campus of Cubbon Park and boasts of being the 2nd largest aquarium in the whole of the country. At this unique aquarium you can come across several exotic and ornamental fishes among which some notable ones are Goldfish, Siamese Fighters, Red Tail Shark etc. Next, we visit the Visvesvaraya Industrial museum. This unique Science Museum named after Sir M Visvesvaraya was inaugurated in the year 1962 by Jawaharlal Nehru. Among the many astounding exhibits at the museum there are many ancient scientific machineries, a steam engine, motor power, airplane etc. Next we visit the ISKCON Temple. This beautiful shrine in Bangalore Rajajinagar is an abode of Lord Krishna. The temple was inaugurated in 1997 and receives huge crowds of devout Krishna devotees each day. After ISKCON Temple we visit the HAL Aerospace museum. This unique museum established in the year 2001 is a one of its kinds museum in the whole of country. The museum beautifully showcases the growth and evolution of Indian aviation as well as HAL Aeronautics. After that we visit the Bull Temple. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva’s ‘Vahana’; the Nandi Bull is a much revered temple also popularly known by the name of Dodda Basavana Gudi. It was built by Kempe Gowda and features marvelous Dravidian architecture. After Bull Temple, we visit the St Mary’s Basillica. This is the oldest of all Bangalore churches and comes with an impressive Gothic architecture. St Mary’s Feast is one of the most renowned festivals at the church. Next, we visit the Sankey Tank. This manmade lake built in 1882 is a great place to experience cool breeze and some relaxing moments amid all the din and clamor of city. Finally for the day we visit the Wonder La. This is the ideal destination for the die-hard adrenaline jockeys. It is the city’s best amusement park with a vast array of high-thrill rides. One of its most talked about rides is the ‘reverse looping roller coaster’. After finishing off with the day we will return to the hotel, have dinner and then night stay.
Day 2
Rest of the Sightseeing
Next day early morning after breakfast we will move for the further Bangalore sightseeing trip and visit places like Ulsoor, Halasuru Someshwara Temple, Vidhana Soudha, Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple, Bangalore Palace, Bangalore Fort, Tipu Sultan’s summer palace and Bannerghatta National Park. The first of the destinations that we visit today is Ulsoor. It is one of the most ancient neighborhoods located centrally in the city of Bangalore. The area exhibits an old world charm with its typical serpentine lanes. Ulsoor is dotted with several temples of which the most prominent temple is the Halasuru Someshwara Temple. It is a Lord Shiva shrine and its origin may be traced back to the eras of the Cholas. After exploring Ulsoor and the temple, we proceed to visit the next destination; Vidhana Soudha. The state legislature is headquartered at the Vidhana Soudha, an imposing building constructed in the Neo-Dravidian architectural style and the total cost of such palatial construction had been Rs 17.5 Million many years back. It is the country’s most enormous legislative building. Next, we visit the Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple; a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and built by Kempe Gowda I. The temple exhibits beautiful rock-cut architecture and is famous for its strange enough stone discs present in the forecourt. Next, we visit the Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple; a Lord Hanuman shrine located atop a hillock that is believed to have been formed from a mound of Ragi or finger millet. After that we visit the Bangalore Palace. This beautiful palace showcasing a Tudor architectural style was built by Chamaraja Wodeyar and replicates the Windsor Caste of England in look. The memorabilia of the royals is exhibited at the palace. Next we visit the Bangalore fort. This fort was previously a mud fort built by Kempe Gowda I in the year 1537 and later was converted to a robust stone fort by Tipu Sultan’s father; Haider Ali in the year 1761. Now, this fort is in total ruins and the only surviving structure happens to be the Delhi Gate. Next, we proceed to visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, the opulent summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. The palace is situated in the Old city area and allows you to get a sneak peek into the royal lifestyle of the bygone eras. Lastly for the day, we visit the Bannerghatta National Park. This beautiful park showcases a wide range of fauna and flora and is an ideal destination for photogenic, nature lovers, and the wildlife enthusiasts. The park was set up in the year 1971 and comes with a vast array of establishments within its premises such as the Butterfly Park, a Zoo, an Aquarium, Snake Park, Crocodile Farm, Pre-historic Animals park, Children’s Park, Museum etc. it’s a time to return to the hotel. The evening is left free for you to enjoy at leisure have dinner and then overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Bangalore Excursion and Departure
On the last day of your sightseeing trip after having breakfast you will be taken to the left over sightseeing destinations. Male Mahadeshwara Hills. The MM Hills is an important pilgrimage destination located at a distance of about 210kms from the city of Bangalore. It is actually a group of seven hills that are jointly referred to as the Male Mahadeshwara Hills. These hills are dotted with beautiful temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. After paying our tribute at the most important shrine; that of Shri Male Mahadeshwara Swamy we return back to Bangalore and head straight to the Bangalore railway station/airport where your journey ends with a lot of beautiful memories.
