Itinerary
Day 1
Kanchanaburi to River Kwai Jungle Rafts
Your tour begins with a departure to Kanchanaburi. First stop is the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum, an interactive museum dedicated to the famous railway. You’ll then continue to the War Cemetery, final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war, and the famous Bridge over the River Kwai. From here you’ll take a long-tail boat out on the Kwai Noi River before checking-in to resort River Kwai Jungle Rafts/ River Kwai Resotel. After lunch, you’ll visit Mon village before returning for dinner and a Mon Dance performance.
Day 2
River Kwai Jungle Rafts to Bangkok
After breakfast on your final day, transfer by long-tail boat to Phutakian pier and continue on to the Hellfire Pass Memorial. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll board the local train for a ride along the most exciting stretch of the “Death Railway”.
