Myanmar is located in South East Asia bordering the People’s Republic of
China on the North and North East, Laos on the East, Thailand on the South
East, Bangladesh on the West and India on the North West. It is also
strategically located between South Asia and South East Asia. More
interestingly, Myanmar is sandwiched between the two most populous nations in
the World– China and India. Bangladesh, 5 times smaller in size with a
population 3 times larger than Myanmar, is another of her neighbours. The
former, unlike Myanmar is not blessed with abundant natural resources, in
addition to which she has the misfortune to be battered by natural disasters
almost every year
Arrive at Yangon International
Airport, welcome by our tour guide. Check in to hotel. Afternoon tour of Yangon
includes Karaweik Hall a Royal barge on the Royal Lake for photo stop,
Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Drive in
downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center
covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dom

Early morning,
after breakfast at hotel, drive to one of Myanmar’s landmarks, Kyaikthiyowhich
is famous for its precarious position and religious importance. Kyaikthiyo the
“Golden Rock”, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately
balanced on the edge of a cliff. Arrive at the base camp of Kinpun and proceed
to the Golden Rock by open truck about an hour mountain drive. Take a light
trekking on the summit through bamboo forest. Enjoy sunset beauty on hill top
and overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

hotel, drive back to Yangon via Bago. Visit toKyaikponfour seated Buddha

Bayinnaung, KalayaniSima(Ordination Hall), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung
Pagoda, the world’s most beautiful reclining Buddha, Wood Carving Industry and
Bagolocal Market. Visit enrouteWorld War II Allied War Grave Cemetery near
Taukkyant. Drive back to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

After breakfast at
hotel, half day trip to Thanlyin across Yangon River on Thanlyin Bridge. Thanlyin
is home to two splendid pagodas; the Kyaikkauk Pagoda and Kyaikmawwin (Yele)
Pagoda, situated on Island. Meet local people at the Kyauktan Market and then
to Kyaikmawwin (Yele) Pagoda by boat. Then return to Yangon. Proceed to
BogyokeAung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then
transfer to airport for departure from Yangon.
