Itinerary

Day 1
Ahmedabad
Arrival in Ahmedabad – a World Heritage City. Check into the hotel and after freshen up, visit Sabarmati Ashram – established by Mahatma Gandhi and one of the most important places in Indian Independence History. Visit Adalaj Step well – a 5 storeyed intricately carved step well and Swaminarayan Akshardham. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 2
Ahmedabad – SOU – Vadodara
Today morning, proceed towards SOU (200 kms/4 Hours). Visit Statue of Unity – the tallest statue in the world dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel – the Iron Man of India. Visit Sardar Sarovar Dam which is a modern architectural marvel in itself and the Valley of Flowers. Return back to Vadodara and overnight at Vadodara.
Day 3
Vadodara
Today morning, visit Laxmi Vilas Palace – considered to be the largest residential house in the country, the residence of the Princely Gaikwads. Visit Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery and take a stroll in the magnificent SayajiBaug. Visit the Stambheshwar Mahadev Temple (80 kms/ 2 Hours) – a shiva temple which can be visited only in Low Tides. Overnight at Vadodara.
Day 4
Vadodara – Bhavnagar
Today morning, check out and proceed towards Bhavnagar (220 kms/5 hours). Reach Bhavnagar – the Princely State which was one of the Pioneer to join the Indian Union at the time of Independence. Visit the Nishkalank Mahadev temple – believed to be established by the Pandavas and visited only during low tides. Overnight at Bhavnagar.
Day 5
Bhavnagar – Ahmedabad Drop
Today morning, check out and proceed towards Ahmedabad (200 kms/ 4 Hours). Visit Lothal – an Indus Civilization Port on the way. Reach Ahmedabad and drop as per schedule.
