Itinerary

Day 1
Cape Town to Oudtshoorn via Route 62
Depart Cape Town and travel along Route 62, meandering your way through the countryside and quint villages to Barrydale. After lunch (to own account) continue to Oudtshoorn, the "feather capital" of the world. Visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour. Check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner.
Day 2
Oudtshoorn to Plettenberg Bay via Knysna
Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of the world, before departing for Knysna. Enjoy some leisure time at the Knysna Waterfront before proceeding to The Crags near Plettenberg Bay. Embark on an informative cruise up the Keurbooms River before arriving at your accommodation for the following two nights. Freshen up before dinner at the lodge. Overnight in Plettenberg Bay.
Day 3
Plettenberg Bay area
After breakfast visit Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Proceed to Hog Hollow Horse Trails for a horse-drawn carriage and wine tasting experience followed by lunch (to own account). Return to the lodge for the remainder of the afternoon at leisure before dinner. Optional: discuss the availability of additional activities on offer in the area with your guide. Overnight in Plettenberg Bay.
Day 4
Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth
Journey along the final leg of the Garden Route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park - Garden of the Garden Route. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge which offers incredible views. The tour ends on arrival in Port Elizabeth with drop-off at the hotel or airport. Drop off time aprox. 6:00pm. Please make your own arrangements accordingly.
