Day 1
Day 1-5 Voluntary tourism Campo Cortoi, Mergoscia
Would you like an opportunity to get involved in your holiday and looking for a suitable offer? Well, the Campo Cortoi could be just the thing for you! On this holiday you will experience hands-on volunteering. Surrounded by fantastic views of Lake Maggiorre you will carry out a variety of tasks which will give you a unique insight into life on the alp. The Campo Cortoi has five refurbished stone houses (locally known as Rustico) with a capacity to accommodate up to 30 guests and is suitable for school classes, clubs or private holidays. Awaiting you in the village of Mergoscia is a wonderful, natural experience. During your stay, cooking is done on wood stoves with the energy for electricity and hot water generated exclusively by solar panels. You will support Stefanie and Mario on four out of the five days helping out with various jobs and activities such as getting supplies from the valley with the aid of the donkeys. On your free day you have leisure time to explore the village, its panoramic paths and the impressive Vogorno Lake which is nearby
