Itinerary

Day 1
ARRIVE CHIANG MAI
After landing at Chiang Mai Airport, a tour representative will meet and greet you before guiding you to the transfer to your hotel. Then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can relax in the hotel to rest from the flight, or perhaps hit the streets to explore the charming old town, which is surrounded by the historic city walls and a moat. Wander the streets lined with small traditional stores and food stands serving typical Thai delicacies. In the evening, the night market is a must, with its impressive selection of artisanal products, colourful souvenirs, tasty snacks and more. Get ready to haggle!  Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 2
HALF-DAY COOKING CLASS
After breakfast in the hotel, head out into the residential Sarapee district to enjoy a fascinating culinary class in the in a traditional Lanna-style teak house. Learn the art of Thai cuisine from master cooks in a typical Thai kitchen. Roll up your sleeves and try your hand at cooking the most well-known meals and desserts of the country. Pick your own herbs and gather the vegetables from the garden and prepare these ingredients to create several succulent, mouth-watering dishes. During the course, you will gain a sound knowledge about the most important herbs and ingredients in Thai cooking. Day 3
RELAXING IN CHIANG MAI AND KHANTOKE DINNER
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and then escape the hubbub of the city with a relaxing scenic cruise along the River Ping. Enjoy the lush views during the trip until you reach a farmer’s house, where you will enjoy a traditional northern-style curry soup locally known as Khao soi, as well as seasonal fresh fruits accompanied by a lemongrass and herb-based juice. Prepared with freshly made egg noodles, coconut milk straight from the source and chili paste freshly grounded according to a secret family recipe, Khao soi is, without a doubt, the signature dish of Northern Thailand. Return to the hotel after a pleasant walk through the local flower and fresh food market and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or enjoying an optional Thai massage. In the evening, discover more about Northern Thailand’s culture during a lovely khantoke dinner show performance. This traditional ceremony was dedicated to only the most important guests and still maintains an air of nobility to this day. Day 4
DEPARTURE CHIANG MAI
Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel before enjoying some free time for you to spend at leisure before the unescorted transfer back to Chiang Mai Airport, where you’ll catch your onward flight to your following destination.  Breakfast included
