ARRIVAL BANGKOK
After landing at Bangkok International Airport, a tour representative will meet and greet you before guiding you to the transfer to your hotel. Then spend the rest of this first day at leisure, becoming acquainted with the vibrant city of Bangkok. Perhaps you could indulge yourself with a traditional Thai Massage, surprise your taste buds with the local flavours and cap off the day by enjoying the sunset from any of the stylish rooftop bars which have blossomed in the city’s skyscrapers in recent years… the options are limitless. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 2
BANGKOK FLIP SIDE AND HOUSE OF TASTE THAI COOKING CLASS
After breakfast, head out to the streets to go on a tour of the flip side of Bangkok, away from the crowds of tourists. Meet your tour guide at Sukhumvit Station’s Exit No. 3 at 8:00 and begin by taking the underground to Hua Lamphong. Explore the local street food stalls before paying a visit to Wat Traimit, ‘Temple of the Golden Buddha’. Then walk along Yaowarat Street to make a stop at the Dragon Lotus Temple, revered by Chinese and Thais alike. Wander through the old market crammed into innumerable alleyways and then relax by enjoying the breeze on an upstream boat ride to Wat Arun, a Khmer-inspired temple. Continue your city discovery by tuk-tuk and end the tour at Wong Wian Yai station, which has spectacular views of the city and skyline. After the tour, go from the Siam station to the Victory Monument and from there take a minivan to the Cooking School, where you’ll join an authentic Thai cooking class, so that you can impress your friends and family at home with some homemade Thai delicacies. The ingredients are all freshly brought from the local markets. During the class, you will learn how to prepare simple but popular dishes that can be cooked in minutes. Learn secrets passed down through generations and discover why the same dish tastes different in almost any place you eat it. After the class, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 3
BANGKOK PROVINCIAL DISCOVERY
Depart Bangkok early in the morning after breakfast and head to the Chachoensao province. Make a stop on the way at Klong Suan 100 Years market. More than just a fresh food display, a giant bazaar or a touristic floating market, this place is really a living museum. It is several hundred metres long and packed with endless rows of tiny old-fashioned wooden shops and restaurants with their terraces above the water. There’s even an old-fashioned barber – the type you might not have seen for 30 years. Continue then to Wat Saman Rattabaram Temple, a huge park where you can see the world’s biggest Reclining Ganesh in Thailand. A Thai lunch will be served at a local restaurant before you hop onto a boat for a ride along the Bang Pakong River, where you can contemplate the serene views of the river bank. Onward to Wat Po Bangkla, where you’ll see lots of Giant Golden Crowned Flying Foxes in the trees within this peaceful temple. After that make a quick stop at Wat Paknam Jolo, ‘The Golden Chapel’, before heading to the last stop of the programme: Muban Nam Tan Sot (‘The Palm Sap Village’), where fresh palm juice will be served and you’ll have a chance to taste some fresh palm seeds before returning to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 4

Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel before enjoying some free time for you to spend at leisure before the unescorted transfer back to Bangkok Airport, where you’ll catch your onward flight to your following destination. Breakfast included
